Year of Manufacture: 1999 / Scope of Delivery: Control Engineering, Robot Programming
Plastic oilpans for trucks are produced with a hydraulic press. The feeding of the press with
raw materials and the removal of the pressed parts is done with a robot respectively. The withdrawing
robot passes the parts to an accumulating conveyor, from which a third robot picks them up. This
robot feeds several processing stations simultaneously, where the oilpans pass through different
fabrication steps.
At first the oilpans are deburred and drilled. After that, nuts are pressed in and the oilpans
are cleaned. Finally the oilpans are forwarded to the quality control.
