The company was founded in 1987 by Karl Hirmer and Robert Kellner. Place of business
is the city of Weiden in Bavaria, Southern Germany.
The two founders brought substantiated knowledge of electrotechnical systems with programmable controllers, computer technology and software development into the company. Programmable logic controllers had been available for ten years, the PC technology was also still in its infancy. This comprehensive offer of services, the exception rather at that time, facilitated a good development of the company. The staff could be increased continuously.
In the early 90s, the first tests for using industrial robots in automation projects were carried out. Many successful projects followed.
The rooms that were rented until this time soon became to small for the growing company. That is why, in 1992, the current company headquarters with office spaces, a production hall, and storage facilities was purchased.
Karl Hirmer died in early 2005 to the consequences of a traffic accident. Since then, Robert Kellner is the sole shareholder and managing director of the company.
To date, the company could develop steadily. Our biggest asset is the experience and reliability of our current 30 staff members. According to our history, we will continue to be an innovative and reliable partner for our customers.
